Jess and Ben tied the knot in Windsor, Colorado on a very toasty June day, but they didn’t let the heat stop the party. Set on one of the hottest summer days, friends and family traveled from all over the country to celebrate their wedding. It was packed full of joy and personal touches! As the very first couple to ever get married at Mountain View Menagerie, Jess truly embraced her role as the ultimate DIY bride, thoughtfully weaving their story into every detail.

They began the day by getting ready with their friends at the venue, then we met Ben for their first look at the local park they bike to together all the time. It was a quiet, meaningful moment that perfectly reflected who they are. Ben carried his dad with him throughout the day, wearing a pin tucked under his jacket in his honor, a subtle but powerful tribute. They brought their story into every bit of the day, including a handmade map Jess created, illustrating their journey together and matches for each guest on the tables (appropriately fish-themed since they met as fishing guides in Estes!)

Jess and Ben brought out cowboy hats for golden hour portraits, and somehow, despite the heat, the light, laughter, and love came together flawlessly. Romantic, fun, and completely them….this day was amazing from start to finish!
