Jen & Adam's Moody Mountain Engagement Photos
Jen and Adam’s engagement session at the Guanella Pass summit felt equal parts intimate, celebratory, and quietly magical. Jen reached out after they had just eloped in Kansas City and traveled to Colorado for both a mini honeymoon AND to scout venues for their bigger celebration the following year. Jen and I actually went to college together, so when she reached out, we hopped on a call, caught up on life and planned to meet at Guanella Pass for their engagement photos. When we arrived, the summit was wrapped in clouds, creating the moodiest Colorado atmosphere. We leaned into it and created slow moments, close connection, and letting Colorado do its thing! As the afternoon unfolded, the clouds began to shift and break apart around us, revealing glimpses of the mountains and soft, diffused light that felt almost unreal. They brought their dogs along, which turned part of the session into sweet “family photos” and a perfect reflection of this season of their lives. <3
