I met Anne and Frank through the small world of wedding vendors! Anne is also a photographer based in Kansas City (where I’m from) and met my sister, who’s a videographer in KC, and reached out while planning their Colorado vacation. They wanted updated photos together while they were out here exploring, and of course, they brought their dog Levi along for the adventure.
We met at Mt. Falcon West on a slightly overcast summer afternoon, which gave us the softest light and plenty of room to wander, play, and explore. Because Anne is a photographer and she and Frank have gotten photos taken many times, she came in totally comfortable in front of the camera, which made the session feel effortless from the start. They were open to direction, quick to laugh, and up for anything, making it easy to mix gentle guidance with candid moments. Including Levi made the session feel especially “them.” From walking the trails to cozy moments tucked into the landscape, this session felt like a true snapshot of who they are together... laid-back, adventurous, and so fun!
